As the design+build entity for the City of Guthrie’s new Main Fire Station, kerr 3 design group, inc. was able to maintain accurate construction estimates and stay within the City’s crucial budget.
Prior to this project, kerr 3 design group, inc. had never before designed a fire station and therefore had no preconceptions about how the building should be designed.
kerr 3 design group, inc. used nuances of the historical Guthrie architectural style giving a very modern building the classic look. Radiant floor heating was installed in order to add energy efficiency as well as reduce maintenance and warm-up time for emergency vehicles.
By working closely with the City of Guthrie and fire department personnel, kerr 3 design group, inc. completed a building that meets the unique needs of the Guthrie Fire Department.
