KERR 3 CONSTRUCTION TO BREAK GROUND ON EDMOND CHURCH OF CHRIST ADDITION THIS SUNDAY

EDMOND, Okla. (January 29, 2004) - - The youth at Edmond Church of Christ will soon have more room for worship and activities. Edmond Church of Christ and kerr 3 construction group, LLC will break ground on a new youth wing, a 6,500 square foot addition to their Activities Center, this Sunday, February 1, at 12:00 Noon.

Designed by kerr 3 design group, plans call for the addition to include several new classrooms for the more than 130 middle school and high school students which make up the youth group. While the group will use the facility on Sundays for Bible classes and worship, it will also be used daily for recreational activities and devotionals and as a safe place for teens to bring their friends.

“The youth wing is intended to be a place for youth to be strengthened and find a loving atmosphere so they can deepen their relationship with Jesus,” said Jake Perkins, Edmond Church of Christ Youth Minister.

kerr 3 construction group will have a crew beginning work on the new addition on February 9. The youth wing is scheduled to be completed by July.

“We are extremely pleased to be working with the Edmond Church of Christ on this project,” said Terry Kerr, President of the kerr 3 group. “I know the congregation and the youth are excited to see their ideas for this new wing come to fruition.”
