kerr 3 open house at Calumet High School

On September 11^th, kerr 3 design group hosted an open house for the recently completed Calumet High School.  About 400 people attended the event where they were able to tour all parts of the new school.  The new facility is about 19,500 square feet and has eleven classrooms with two serving as storm safe rooms.  In addition, there is new furniture throughout the new building, two computer labs, office space, and a new science lab.  The project was funded by a bond election in February, 2013.  Associated projects in the existing building include a new music room, additional parking, an enlarged cafeteria, new HVAC units and renovated rest rooms.
